The N GATC 2600 Airslide Hopper is a detailed N-scale model of General American Transportation Company's mid‑century airslide bulk hopper, designed to carry dry bulk powders such as flour, sugar, starch and plastics. Based on the Airslide concept, these cars fluidize the load with an air‑permeable bottom to allow controlled discharge through the hopper outlets. The original 2,600‑cubic‑foot, single‑bay design debuted in the 1950s, and some units were paired into two‑car sets to reach as much as 5,200 cubic feet of capacity.

The model emphasizes realism with a highly detailed injection‑molded body, accurate painting, and a host of scale details. It rides on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours and can be fitted with either roller‑bearing or Bettendorf trucks.
