An N-scale replica of the ACF 2970 2-bay covered hopper, this model reproduces a classic bulk-carrier used for loads like cement and sand. Based on the Centerflow design introduced by American Car and Foundry in the 1960s, it captures the rounded body and a 2,970-cubic-foot capacity to deliver a realistic unloading profile on a model railroad.

The highly detailed, injection-molded body is painted and printed for realistic decoration. It features photo-etched roof walks, separately applied wire grab irons and brake piping, a detailed underbody, and body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. Weighted for smooth operation, this model suits layout-friendly curves with a minimum radius of 11 inches.
