ACF 2970 Two-Bay Covered Hopper, N scale, is a detailed model of a mid-century centerflow hopper designed for dense bulk loads such as cement and sand. This 2,970-cubic-foot car entered service in the 1950s, and its rounded body design provided structural strength while aiding gravity unloading. The model reproduces the two-bay configuration and capacity, with MoPac livery available as a variant for realistic layouts.

Fitted with photo-etched roof walks, separately applied wire grab irons and brake piping, and a detailed underbody, the model uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers and is weighted for steady operation. The injection-molded body is painted and printed for realistic decoration, and it is designed to run on radii as small as 11 inches on typical N-scale track.
