It features separately applied metal grab irons, etched metal crossover platforms, and accurate brake piping in metal and plastic, along with bent-wire coupler cut levers and rubber train-line hoses. The car rides on screw-mounted 100-ton roller bearing trucks with machined metal wheels in RP25 contours and uses body-mounted McHenry lower-shelf knuckle couplers for smooth, reliable handling. The injection-molded body is highly detailed and accurately painted and printed for prototypical realism, and the whole model is weighted for steady, dependable performance on the layout.
