HO Cupola Caboose Wabash #2824 (BAC14002)

The HO Cupola Caboose Wabash #2824 is a beautifully crafted model that pays homage to the original Streamlined Cabooses built by the Wabash Railroad in the early 1950s. This model features the iconic small windowed projection on the roof, known as the cupola, where train crew members sat in elevated seats to keep an eye on the train during transit. The caboose not only served as an observation point but also provided essential shelter at the rear of the train.

This fully assembled Silver Series Rolling Stock is designed with meticulous attention to detail. It boasts highly detailed painted bodies complemented by precision graphics, ensuring a realistic appearance. The model is equipped with blackened machined metal wheels that feature RP 25 contours, alongside magnetically operated E-Z Mate couplers for enhanced coupling functionality.

To ensure excellent tracking performance, the caboose includes added weight, with a scale of HO (1:87). It is also furnished with non-magnetic blackened brass axles that come with needle-point bearings and Celcon trucks, further enhancing its operational capabilities.
