HO 100-Ton Bethlehem Steel Three Bay Hopper (BAC18724)

HO-scale 100-ton Bethlehem Steel three-bay hopper cars are faithful, highly detailed reproductions for model railroad layouts. Built to reflect an authentic Bethlehem Steel design, the cars feature separately applied air tanks, brake valve, brake wheel, and bracing parts, and they ship with a removable coal or stone load to switch between loaded and empty scenes. Interior wall braces and a refined underbody contribute to realistic appearances when the car is displayed without a payload.

On the rails, the hopper rides on detailed trucks with see-through sideframes and blackened metal wheels with RP25 contours, and it uses magnetically operated E-Z Mate II couplers for dependable coupling to other cars.
