The HO-scale Bethlehem Steel 100-Ton Three-Bay Hopper is a detailed model built for authentic operation on HO model railroad layouts. Reproducing the Bethlehem Steel three-bay hopper design used on the Wheeling & Lake Erie line, this car includes a removable coal or stone load and a suite of separately applied detailing for an authentic, prototypical appearance.

Designed for realistic performance and display, it features separate air tanks, a brake valve, brake wheel and bracing parts, plus interior wall braces to create a convincing empty-car look (assembly required). It rides on detailed trucks with see-through sideframes and uses magnetically operated E-Z Mate Mark II couplers and blackened metal wheels with RP25 contours for smoother tracking. Optional modeler-installed weights for optimum tracking are included, and the body measures about 7 inches long, 1.5 inches wide, and 1.8 inches tall.
