This HO-scale GATX 4180 Airslide Hopper is a faithful model of the General American Transportation Corporation’s 4180 airslide hopper, designed to bring a classic mid-20th-century freight car to HO layouts. Built to represent cars produced between 1963 and 1980, it adds authenticity to oil- and ethanol-train scenes or mixed-era freights.

It features newly developed tooling with separately applied details, a meticulously painted body with precision graphics, blackened machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, and magnetically operated E-Z Mate Mark II couplers for realistic coupling and operation.
