HOn30 Narrow Gauge Talyllyn Railway Carriage #1 (BAC77502)

The HOn30 Narrow Gauge Talyllyn Railway Carriage #1 is a finely detailed model inspired by the actual Talyllyn railway carriages built in the 19th century. The original carriages were constructed by Brown, Marshalls & Co of Birmingham, England, between 1866 and 1867. Carriage #1, along with its companion Carriage #2, features an open interior design with compartmentalized seating conveniently placed at each door. A third coach, Carriage #4, which was delivered in 1867 by the Lancaster Wagon Co., offered a more economical design while maintaining the charm of vintage rail travel. Remarkably, all three coaches are still in operation today on the Talyllyn Railway. While they are not officially named, Carriage #4 is affectionately known as 'Lulu' among the railway staff.
