The set runs on a 5'4" x 4'3" oval of track and comes with a wall pack and an analog speed controller for traditional DC operation, plus illustrated instructions to help you get started.

Designed for flexibility, it supports both analog DC operation with the included controller and DCC operation when used with an NMRA-compliant digital control system. A 16-bit sound processor delivers locomotive sounds—whistle, chuff, and cylinder blow down—with a dual-mode decoder that handles analog and DCC automatically. The Annie and Clarabel coaches use international-style hook-and-loop couplers, and the 14-piece track is paired with an illustrated manual. For DCC operation, a Bachmann E-Z Command Plus or another NMRA-compliant system is required.
