HO Baldwin Centipede with DCC and Paragon 4 Sound in SAL/Citrus livery is an authentic HO-scale replica of Baldwin's iconic Centipede, designed to bring the legendary locomotive to life on modern model railroad layouts. This high-end model delivers immersive sound and control with Paragon 4 Sound and Rolling Thunder, a dual-mode decoder with Back EMF for superb slow-speed operation on both DC and DCC layouts, and a precision drive engineered for heavy pulling and smooth slow-speed performance. It houses two 1,500-horsepower diesel motors per unit, so a paired set totals 6,000 horsepower, capturing the scale and power of the prototype. Painted in prototypical SAL/Citrus colors with road numbers and many separately applied details—handrails, grab irons, horns, bells, wipers, and etched grills—the model also features prototypical lighting for headlight, rear light, cab light, and number boards.

Constructed with an ABS body and die-cast chassis to maximize tractive effort, the Centipede includes a built-in capacity pack to improve electrical pickup and overall reliability.
