This N-scale four-car 40-foot steel boxcar set reproduces mid-century freight on the New York Central system, with Set B featuring four cars in NYC-related liveries (NYC, MC, P&E, and B&A). It’s designed to bring authentic, era-accurate freight to an N-scale layout and is ready to run on today’s tracks.

Each model uses an ABS plastic body with metal wheels and milled axles for smooth, friction-free movement, plus separate applied details like sliding main doors, steel roof walkways, brake wheels, and a detailed underbody. They are equipped with operating knuckle couplers and set up to run on Code 55, 70, and 80 rails, with a 9-inch minimum radius to suit most N-scale layouts. Era-accurate detailing includes rectangular-paneled roofs, AB brakes, ARA U-section trucks, and a steel-grid running board along the car tops, plus two door styles and two end-cap designs (including corrugated and Dreadnaught ends).
