Constructed with a plastic (ABS) body and ABS chassis, the cars roll on metal wheels and milled axles for smooth, friction-free movement. They include separate applied details such as a coal load, brake wheel, brake cylinder, and air-brake reservoir, plus a detailed underbody. Equipped with operating knuckle couplers, they run on Code 55, 70, and 80 rails and require a minimum 9-inch radius to negotiate curves.
