An HO-scale K-2 Mikado steam locomotive with a 12-VC tender, this model reproduces the 1940s-era C&O Mikado that powered a wide range of freight service. Built by Alco-Richmond, the K-2 featured a booster for added tractive effort, enabling it to pull heavy trains and handle manifest freights, local freights, coal trains, and work trains across the railroad.
