HO-scale RF-16 Sharknose Locomotive A-B Set in Santa Fe livery (470L and 470A) recreates Baldwin’s iconic Sharknose diesels in a faithful, ready-to-run pairing. The arrangement includes a powered A-unit with Paragon4 sound and a lightweight unpowered B-unit, delivering authentic ABA operation on model railroads.

Paragon4 Sound with Rolling Thunder delivers authentic Baldwin diesel audio, and the integrated dual-mode decoder with Back EMF ensures smooth slow-speed performance on both DC and DCC layouts. The model features a robust drive for heavy pulling, all-wheel electrical pickup, an ABS body with a die-cast chassis for maximum traction, and prototypical lighting and finely applied details. MicroTrains-compatible couplers are included, and the unit is designed to run on Code 55, 70, and 80 rails with an 18-inch minimum radius. An additional powered A-unit is available separately for expanding the set to a longer ABA configuration.
