An N-scale replica of the Boston and Maine 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotive, Minuteman No. 3688, designed to bring authentic steam power to an N-scale layout. This model follows the classic USRA Pacific design, delivering a compact, prototypical silhouette with modern layout flexibility.

Inside, a DCC-compatible decoder with back-EMF provides smooth slow-speed control on both DC and DCC layouts, while a die-cast boiler and chassis supply solid tractive effort. Traction tires improve grip, and two MicroTrains-compatible couplers ensure reliable coupling. Separately applied handrails, ladders, a whistle, and a brass bell enhance realism, with a golden-white LED headlight for prototypical operation. The model runs on Code 55, 70, and 80 rails and requires a 9.75-inch minimum radius, using the traditional 10,000-gallon tender.
