N Cryogenic Tank Car for Air Products (2 Pack) (BLI8141)

The N Cryogenic Tank Car is designed for transporting super-cold fluids such as liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon. This model is accurate to the original prototype blueprints and is able to maintain extremely low temperatures while moving large quantities of these materials long distances. It features a high capacity capable of transporting over 15,000 gallons of liquid oxygen, doubling the capacity of earlier models.

This model is equipped with metal wheelsets that feature prototypical wheel face contours, ensuring smooth operation on code 55, code 70, and code 80 rail. The product includes factory-equipped, Microtrains-compatible operating knuckle couplers and allows for two different truck options: friction bearing and roller bearing. The tank car comes complete with many separately applied details that enhance the realism, including handrails, grab irons, ladders, and brake mechanisms.
