N Cryogenic Tank Car, Air Reduction (2-Pack) (BLI8142)

An N-scale cryogenic tank car set with an air-reduction system, designed to represent high-capacity liquid-gas transport on a model railroad. This two-car bundle is ideal for layouts depicting industrial gas operations and the movement of ultra-cold liquids such as liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and liquid argon.

Modelers will notice faithful detailing: prototype-scale paint and lettering, plus two roof walkway options and two truck styles (friction-bearing and roller-bearing). The cars also feature numerous separately applied details—from hand rails and grab irons to ladders, brake housing and brake wheel—carefully finished with metal wheelsets and Micro-Trains-compatible knuckle couplers. They run on Code 55, 70 or 80 track and have a minimum radius of 9.75 inches. Each two-car set is uniquely numbered to mirror prototype operation.
