N Cryogenic Tank Car (Canadian Liquid Air) 2-Pack (BLI8144)

This N-scale Canadian Cryogenic Tank Car set arrives as a two-car pack designed to model the transport of cryogenic liquids on modern railroads. It reproduces tank cars used for liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and argon, operating at cryogenic temperatures of roughly -297°F for oxygen, -320°F for nitrogen, and -302°F for argon. The high-capacity design can haul more than 15,000 gallons of liquid oxygen, about double the capacity of earlier designs.

Modeling details include prototypically accurate paint and lettering, plus multiple separately applied details such as hand rails, ladders and brake housing. The cars offer two roof walkway options and two truck choices—friction-bearing or roller-bearing—and come with metal wheelsets featuring realistic wheel-face contours and Microtrains-compatible operating knuckle couplers for smooth, lifelike operation.
