N Cryogenic Tank Car UTLX Black (2) Pack (BLI8148)

The N Cryogenic Tank Car, UTLX Black (2) is designed for transporting super-cold fluids such as liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon. These tank cars are capable of maintaining extremely low temperatures, with liquid oxygen kept at -297 degrees F, and liquid nitrogen at -320 degrees F. Each car can transport over 15,000 gallons of liquid, significantly more than prior models, making them essential for cold liquid gas handling on railroads.

This model is accurately scaled from prototype blueprints with prototypically accurate paint and colors. It features fine printing that reproduces builders' stencils and test data, enhancing its visual authenticity. The model offers versatility with two roof walkway options, friction bearing and roller bearing truck options, and many separately applied details such as hand rails and ladders. Additionally, it comes factory-equipped with Microtrains-compatible operating knuckle couplers and operates on code 55, code 70, and code 80 rail with a minimum operating radius of 9.75 inches. The pack includes two uniquely numbered cars.
