The N Cryogenic Tank Car is specifically designed for the transportation of super-cold fluids including liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon. These advanced tank cars can maintain extremely low temperatures, enabling them to transport over 15,000 gallons of liquid oxygen, which is significantly more than previous models. These tank cars are essential for any railroad that needs to haul cold liquid gases efficiently and safely.

Each model is accurately scaled from prototype blueprints, ensuring a realistic representation. The paint and colors are prototypically accurate, while fine printing effectively reproduces various builder’s stencils and test data. Users can choose between two roof walkway options and two truck options — friction bearing and roller bearing. The cars are equipped with many separately applied details, such as handrails, grab irons, ladders, and brake components, adding to their realism.

The metal wheelsets feature prototypical wheel face contours and are factory-equipped with Microtrains-compatible operating knuckle couplers. These tank cars are designed to operate on code 55, 70, and 80 rail, with a minimum operating radius of 9.75 inches.
