As part of the Stealth Series, it is DCC-Ready out of the box with no sound, and can operate on DC immediately or be upgraded with a DCC sound decoder. An 8-ohm speaker is pre-installed to simplify adding sound, while front and rear lights are directional and other lighting comes on with track power.

Built with an ABS shell and die-cast chassis for solid heft and maximum tractive effort, it features a Precision Drive mechanism for strong pulling and smooth slow-speed operation.
