HO EMD GP35 Locomotive UP 743 “Dependable Trains” is a faithful HO-scale replica of EMD's GP35 freight locomotive in Union Pacific's distinctive livery. This Broadway Limited Imports model reproduces prototypically accurate road numbers and paint, reflecting the GP35's wide service across North American railroads.

Part of the Stealth Series, the model is DCC-Ready out of the box with no sound, and includes an 8-ohm speaker to simplify adding a sound decoder if you wish. Out of the box, front and rear lights are directional while other lights come on with track power. The drive system uses a precision mechanism for heavy towing and smooth slow-speed operation, with all-wheel electrical pickup and an ABS body with a die-cast chassis for maximum tractive effort. It features premium painting, prototypically accurate road numbers, and numerous separately applied details such as handrails, horns, bells, wipers, and etched grills. Metal Kadee-compatible couplers are included, it will operate on Code 70, Code 83, and Code 100 rails, and it requires an 18-inch minimum radius to negotiate curves.
