N Reading T1 4-8-4 Locomotive Iron Horse #2102 (BLI8243)

This is an N-scale model of the Reading T-1 4-8-4 steam locomotive, known as the Iron Horse, road number 2102. It’s designed for Reading Railroad-themed layouts to capture the look and feel of the late-1940s T-1 fleet used for fast freight service and occasional passenger moves.

Engineered for solid performance, the model features a die-cast body and chassis for weight and maximum tractive effort, plus a precision drive for smooth slow-speed handling. It is DCC-ready out of the box (Stealth Series) with no sound, and includes an 8-ohm speaker pre-installed to simplify adding a sound decoder later. Front and rear lights are directional, while other lights come on with track power. The model carries prototypically accurate paint schemes and road numbers, with separately controllable headlight, taillight, and cab light, and detailed handrails, ladders, piping, whistle, and bell. MicroTrains-compatible couplers are fitted, and it will operate on Code 55/70/80 rails with a minimum radius of 9.75 inches.
