HO EMD F3A Locomotive CN 9003 Olive Green & Imitation Gold (BLI8332)

This HO-scale EMD F3A locomotive reproduces CN 9003 in olive green with imitation gold, a faithful CN prototype for an HO layout. It's part of Broadway Limited’s Stealth Series and is DCC-ready with no sound, while including an 8-ohm speaker to make it easy to add a DCC decoder with sound later. The model carries prototypically accurate road numbers and paint schemes to reflect CN’s F3A units used in both freight and passenger service.

On the rails, the ABS body rides on a die-cast chassis for robust pulling power and steady performance, with all-wheel electrical pickup and a precision drive engineered for heavy towing and smooth slow-speed operation. It includes two metal Kadee-compatible couplers and directional lighting that operates with track power. Road-specific detailing mirrors the CN 9003 prototype, with three pilot options, nose doors (with or without headlights), varied numberboards, and hatch placements for water, sand, and winterization, plus a dynamic brake hatch, cooling fans, a roof antenna, and a steam-generator style. It will operate on Code 70, 83, and 100 rails and requires an 18-inch minimum radius to navigate curves cleanly.
