N 40' Wood Stock Car with Cattle Sounds (BLI8453)

An N-scale, 40-foot wooden stock car equipped with motion-activated cattle sounds adds lifelike realism to livestock-hauling scenes on your layout. Modeled after a Pennsylvania Railroad K7A car, this sound-equipped model plays authentic cattle noises that respond to movement, so the sound level rises and falls as the train rolls. Volume and sensitivity are adjustable with the included magnet, and it functions on both DC and DCC layouts without requiring DCC control.

Constructed from ABS with precise paint, color, and lettering, it includes two operating Microtrains-compatible couplers and rides on Code 55, 70, and 80 track with a minimum operating radius of 9.75 inches. The model features numerous detailed parts to match the prototype, making it a convincing addition to freight consists. Note that holiday-themed variants exist that replace livestock sounds with seasonal songs or tunes instead of cattle noises.
