HO-scale Santa Fe 5615 SD45 Locomotive in Bookend Scheme, a detailed freight-hauler designed for HO layouts. This DCC-ready model runs on DC power out of the box and can be upgraded with sound; an 8-ohm speaker is already installed to simplify adding a sound decoder when desired.

Engineered for heavy hauling, it features a precision drive mechanism for smooth slow-speed operation, all-wheel electrical pickup, and an ABS body with a die-cast chassis for maximum tractive effort. It wears premium painting and prototypically accurate road numbers, with numerous separately applied details such as handrails, grab irons, horns, bells, wipers, and etched grills. Metal Kadee-compatible couplers (two) are included, and the model will operate on Code 70, Code 83, and Code 100 rails with a minimum 18" operating radius. Front and rear lights are directional, while other lights illuminate with track power for realistic operation on an HO layout.
