HO EMD SD45 Locomotive Southern Pacific 8950 Bloody Nose (BLI9008)

Southern Pacific 8950 "Bloody Nose" EMD SD45 HO-scale locomotive is a no-sound, DCC-ready model designed for DC operation out of the box. Front and rear lights are directional, and other lights come on with track power. An 8-ohm speaker is installed to make it easy to add a DCC sound decoder.

Designed for HO-scale operation, the SD45 combines an ABS body with a die-cast chassis for weight and traction, plus all-wheel electrical pickup and a precision drive mechanism for strong pulling power and smooth slow-speed running. It features prototypically accurate painting and road numbers, with many separately applied details such as handrails, grab irons, horn, bell, wipers, and etched grills, along with metal Kadee-compatible couplers. It will operate on Code 70, Code 83, and Code 100 track, and has a minimum 18-inch radius for reliable operation.
