HO Union Pacific Power Car 2066 with Roof Antenna and Sound (BLI9122)

HO Union Pacific Power Car 2066 is a rebuilt former ACF postal storage car that serves as a power and support vehicle behind Union Pacific excursion trains and office car specials. Inside, it houses generator compartments, a control room, a walk-in cooler and freezer, and commissary storage, powered by two Deutz diesel engines. The control room includes a private bedroom for the electrician, reflecting its role as a mobile command post for on‑road operations.

Meticulously detailed and prototypically painted to match Union Pacific, the model features many separately applied details such as handrails, grab irons, an antenna, and accurate underbody detailing, with interior prototypical to car 2066. Controllable interior lighting can be dimmed, and two Kadee-compatible couplers provide authentic coupling for HO track, compatible with Code 70, 83, and 100 rails and a minimum operating radius of 18 inches. The first production run offers variants with or without a roof antenna and with or without sound, with a primer-gray version available for customizing to match a specific railroad.
