HO Union Pacific Power Car 2066 with Roof Antenna No-Sound (BLI9123)

HO Union Pacific Power Car 2066 is a detailed HO-scale model recreating the former ACF postal storage car rebuilt to serve as a power and control car behind Union Pacific excursion trains and office car specials. Inside, the car houses generator compartments, a control room, a walk-in cooler and freezer, and commissary storage, powered by two Deutz diesel engines. The control room includes a private bedroom for the electrician responsible for monitoring and maintaining the systems during the journey. Power Car 2066 has been a reliable companion behind both steam and diesel-powered excursion trains, making it a natural addition to any UP excursion consist.

The model captures the UP appearance with precise paint, color, and lettering, along with many separately applied details such as handrails, grab irons, an antenna, and accurate underbody work. The interior is prototypical to car 2066, and interior lighting is controllable and dimmable. It features two Kadee-compatible couplers and is designed to operate on Code 70, 83, and 100 track with a minimum radius of 18 inches. For this production run, versions are offered with or without a roof antenna and with or without sound, including a primer-gray version ready for customizing.
