HO Union Pacific Power Car #2066 No-Sound (BLI9125)

HO Union Pacific Power Car 2066 is an HO-scale model based on a former ACF postal storage car rebuilt to act as a power car behind Union Pacific excursion trains and office car specials. Inside, it houses generator compartments, a control room, a walk-in cooler and freezer, and commissary storage, driven by two Deutz diesel engines. The control room even includes a private bedroom for the electrician responsible for monitoring and maintaining the systems on the journey. Power Car 2066 has long been a reliable companion behind both steam- and diesel-powered excursions, making it a versatile addition to any UP excursion consist.

Versions are offered with or without the appropriate roof antenna and with or without sound, including a primer-gray variant ready for customization. The model captures UP’s appearance with precise paint, color, and lettering, and it features many separately applied details such as handrails, grab irons, antenna, and careful underbody work. Interiors are prototypical to car 2066, with controllable, dimmable interior lighting. It includes two Kadee-compatible operating couplers and is designed for use on Code 70, 83, and 100 rails, with a minimum operating radius of 18 inches to ensure smooth operation on most HO layouts.
