EMD F3A SAL 4023 Diesel Locomotive with Paragon4 Sound (BLI9211)

An HO-scale EMD F3A SAL 4023 diesel locomotive with Paragon4 Sound that recreates the postwar cab-unit used by the Seaboard Air Line for both freight and passenger service from 1945 to 1949. The model is offered as A-B sets with a powered A-unit and an unpowered B-unit, or as separate single A or B units with a full Paragon4 DC/DCC/Sound system, all featuring road-specific detailing and prototypical lighting.

Paragon4 Sound and Control with Rolling Thunder, a dual-mode decoder with Back EMF for superb slow-speed operation in both DC and DCC, and a precision drive mechanism deliver realistic performance. The model includes all-wheel electrical pickup, an ABS body with a die-cast chassis for maximum tractive effort, and MicroTrains-compatible couplers for reliable operation. It will run on Code 55, 70 and 80 rails and on curves with a minimum radius of 9 inches.
