EMD NW2 Switcher RDG 100 Green and Yellow Model (BLI9310)

An HO-scale EMD NW2 switcher in RDG 100 green and yellow livery, designed to bring a classic diesel switcher to model railroad layouts. This faithful reproduction captures the look of the early NW2 and comes equipped with the Paragon4 Sound and Control System, delivering authentic engine sounds and smooth DC or DCC operation via a dual-mode decoder with Back EMF for realistic slow-speed performance.

The model features a die-cast body and chassis for weight and traction, all-wheel electrical pickup, and detailed, separately applied parts such as handrails, grab irons, smokestacks, horn and bell. It includes two metal Kadee-compatible couplers and prototypical lighting options (dual or single headlights) to match each scheme. Compatible with Code 55, 70, and 80 rails and a minimum 9-inch operating radius, it delivers prototypical NW2 sounds and dependable switching performance for busy yard scenes.
