Designed for DC and DCC operation, it features Paragon4 Sound and Control System with Rolling Thunder and a dual-mode decoder with Back EMF for smooth slow-speed performance. The heavy-duty drive, die-cast body and chassis, and all-wheel electrical pickup provide reliable pulling power and steady operation. Prototypically accurate paint schemes and road numbers are complemented by many separately applied details—handrails, grab irons, smokestacks, horn and bell—along with dual- or single-headlight options and prototypical lighting. Two metal MicroTrains-compatible couplers are included, and the model will run on Code 55, 70, and 80 rails with a minimum operating radius of 9 inches.
