N Scale EMD SW7 Switcher Amtrak 565 Phase III Scheme DCC-Ready (BLI9380)

An N-scale EMD SW7 switcher in Amtrak 565 Phase III livery, designed for yard and industrial switching on a model railroad. This Stealth Series model is DCC-Ready with no sound, and includes an eight-ohm speaker to simplify adding a DCC/Sound decoder later.

Out of the box, front and rear lights are directional, while other lights come on with track power. The ABS body with a die-cast chassis provides sturdy weight and traction, and two MicroTrains-compatible couplers are included along with separately applied details such as grab irons, horns, and a bell. It operates on Code 55, Code 70, and Code 80 rails and requires a minimum 9-inch radius, while prototypically accurate paint schemes complete the Amtrak Phase III look.
