EMD SW7 Switcher N&W 3362 DCC-Ready Model (BLI9383)

EMD SW7 switcher locomotive in Norfolk & Western 3362 livery, blue with imitation gold trim. This Stealth Series model is DCC-ready, ships without sound, and is designed for authentic yard switching with 1,200 horsepower packed into a compact 44-foot chassis.

Out of the box, directional front and rear lights are active while other lights run with track power. A preinstalled 8-ohm speaker helps simplify adding a DCC sound decoder later. The model features a precise drive for smooth slow-speed operation and strong pulling, with all-wheel electrical pickup and an ABS body bonded to a die-cast chassis for solid traction. It includes two MicroTrains-compatible couplers, runs on Code 55, 70 and 80 rail, and requires a minimum 9-inch radius. Finishes include premium painting and prototypically accurate road numbers with multiple separately applied details like grab irons, horns, and bells to enhance realism.
