9384 EMD SW7 Switcher NKP 230 DCC-Ready Black and Yellow Locomotive (BLI9384)

This NKP 230 EMD SW7 Switcher is a Stealth Series HO locomotive that arrives DCC-ready with no sound, designed for realistic yard switching and short-haul work on model railroad layouts.

Out of the box, front and rear headlights are directional while other lights come on with track power. A preinstalled 8-ohm speaker makes it easy to add DCC sound, and a precision drive system delivers strong pulling power with smooth slow-speed operation. The model features all-wheel electrical pickup and an ABS body with a die-cast chassis for durability and traction, plus premium painting with prototypically accurate NKP road numbers and numerous separately applied details such as grab irons, horns, and a bell. Two MicroTrains-compatible couplers are included, it will operate on Code 55, 70 and 80 rails, and it has a 9-inch minimum operating radius—making it well-suited for realistic HO layouts.
