Cobra 10 Electronic Speed Control and 1406-3800KV Sensored Motor Combo (CSE010-0174-08)

Introducing the Cobra 10 electronic speed control paired with a 1406-3800KV sensored motor—a high-performance drive package designed to control power for 1:10 scale race cars up to seven pounds and 1:8 scale off-road buggies up to nine pounds, delivering precise throttle response and consistent power in racing and challenging terrain. It uses a 32-bit dual-core processor for smooth motor control and enhanced data logging, and is housed in a rugged CNC aluminum bottom case to resist heat and debris in demanding conditions.

Thermal management is further boosted by CRYO-DRIVE technology, while a highly adjustable internal BEC (5.0–8.0V) powers demanding servos. Hill Hold strengthens the drag brake so the model stays in place on steep slopes, and a 250mm direct-connect sensor wire simplifies sensor installs. The Cobra 10 supports Sensored Only, Brushed, and SmartSense running modes, and tuning/firmware updates are available via the Castle Link V4 USB programmer (now with USB-C). Audible alerts help diagnose common issues such as motor over-temperature or low-voltage cutoff, while epoxy potting and a rugged build ensure all-weather reliability.
