Phoenix Edge Series ESCs are the next evolution in speed controller technology. The white user-programmable auxiliary wire can be used for features such as helicopter governor gain input adjustments mid-flight, serving as an audible beacon after an "œunexpected landing", acting as an RPM output for 3-axis gyros that support RPM sensors, be used as an ESC arming lock, or as a receiver arming lock. Combined with data logging, access to Castle's industry leading software functions, and USB programming capability via Castle Link USB adapter or the Castle Link App and a B-LINK Bluetooth Adapter, the Phoenix Edge offers unparalleled versatility.

Telemetry has the potential not only to improve the safety of our models by monitoring battery voltages, ESC temperature, and other critical parameters, but it also creates other opportunities to get even more fun out of flying because you've essentially reduced the risks of "œunknown" inevitable crashes. Alarms will sound to warn you when there's interference or if your receiver battery is running unexpectedly low. Protection features include an Arm Lock Key that prevents the controller from arming when in the socket and an RC Arm Lock that ensures the controller will not arm if the auxiliary channel is below 50%. The system is fully programmable using Castle Link USB adapter and freely downloadable software, and users will receive free access to all firmware updates, including added features sets using the Castle Link USB Programming Kit.
