The Sidewinder 3 Waterproof 1/10 Combo with a Sensored Motor, featuring a 7700kV rating, is an exceptional performance upgrade for 1:10 scale off-road and on-road vehicles running up to 3S LiPo. Included in the package is the improved 4-pole, 12-slot sensored motor, known for its outstanding efficiency. Although the sensored features of this motor will operate in sensorless mode with the Sidewinder 3, it is rebuildable, with parts available for future convenience. This unique design even allows for the replacement of damaged motor wires, adding to the overall durability and maintenance ease of the unit.

The Sidewinder 3 is ready to use right out of the box and can be programmed easily via your transmitter. For more extensive customization, drivers can access a variety of programmable features using a Windows PC in conjunction with a Castle Link USB adapter or a Field Link card, both sold separately. This flexibility allows for fine-tuning settings such as brake and throttle curves, throttle response, drag brake, and many other parameters while also enabling the downloading of firmware updates and feature upgrades as they become available.

This combo consists of a Sidewinder 3 ESC and a 1406-7700Kv sensored motor, making it an excellent upgrade choice for 1/10th scale on-road cars operating at 2S, and it can also serve some lighter off-road 1/10th stadium trucks and buggies with conservative gearing. Please note that this combo is not designed for use in 2WD or 4WD short course trucks. The Sidewinder 3 ESC is specifically tailored for 1/10th scale off-road, on-road, and rock crawling applications running up to 3S LiPo. With its updated circuitry for improved speed and reliability, this ESC maintains industry-leading software capabilities and USB programming options through a Castle Link USB adapter, which is sold separately. To complete the setup, soldering of 4mm female bullets for motor connection is required, with those components sold separately as well.
