USS Crockett Model Boat Kit 51" (DUM1218)

The U.S.S. Crockett 51-Inch Model Boat Kit is a detailed, build-it-yourself scale replica of the Asheville-class gunboat, designed for hobbyists who want a substantial display piece or a motorized project. This 51-inch kit recreates authentic lines with a plank-on-frame hull built from balsa planking over a mahogany frame and a die-cut superstructure for precise detailing.

Designed as a traditional wood model, the kit includes a deck hardware set with more than 80 cast fittings to dress the deck and a twin-screw running hardware kit to handle propulsion. The drive line is largely complete with everything needed except the motors; two 6-volt motors are required and sold separately to power the model.
