Taylorcraft Electric Airplane Kit — a 40-inch wingspan electric-powered model airplane designed by Pat Tritle to recreate the classic Taylorcraft, built to fly with stock, off-the-shelf flying hardware for easy, affordable flight.

Construction features laser-cut balsa parts, vacuum-molded components, color peel-and-stick decals, lightweight tissue covering, a full-size plan, and step-by-step instructions to guide the build. The model measures 23-7/8 inches in length with a 40-inch wingspan and a 272-square-inch wing area, using a flat-bottom airfoil. The recommended center of gravity sits about 1-7/8 inches back from the wing’s leading edge, with elevator and rudder throws of 3/4 inch and 7/8 inch respectively. Designed to work with readily available flying hardware, this kit offers an approachable, affordable route to a scale electric Taylorcraft flyer.
