Engineered for improved low-speed handling and performance, the Habu STS (Smart Trainer with SAFE) 70mm EDF simplifies flying and landing, allowing you to learn how to fly with a jet as your very first radio-controlled (RC) airplane! Drawing from one of the finest Electric Ducted Fan (EDF) sport jets ever designed, it has been optimized with the integration of SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology, which features Beginner, Intermediate, and Experienced flight modes to facilitate successful flying, especially with an instructor's assistance. Its wide-stance tricycle landing gear, complete with a steerable nose wheel and oversized tires, enables operations from various surfaces such as paved runways, grass, and dirt. Additionally, you can install the optional Landing Assist Sensor (LAS), which automatically "flares" for smoother landings to further ease your landing training.
