Habu SS 50mm EDF BNF Basic (EFL02350)

Meet the Habu SS 50mm EDF Jet, the first 50mm-class model from E-flite and a compact, affordable introduction to jet flying. Built on the legendary Habu platform, it delivers forgiving low-speed handling and solid sport-jet performance, making it ideal for pilots transitioning from trainers or seeking a high-performance jet that’s approachable to fly. The BNF Basic version includes a Spektrum AR631 receiver with AS3X stabilization and SAFE Select flight envelope protection, providing a locked-in feel with optional self-leveling for learning or the freedom to disable SAFE for more advanced flights.

Power comes from a brushless outrunner driving a 12-blade 50mm fan and it accepts widely available 3S batteries (1300–2200mAh). The 30-amp Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC delivers real-time power-system telemetry to compatible receivers and transmitters, and optional thrust reversing helps shorten rollout after landing and enhances ground handling. The lightweight, composite-reinforced EPO airframe is finished in a high-visibility scheme and equipped with 4-channel control including a functional rudder and four preinstalled servos; the BNF Basic version ships mostly pre-assembled with the power system and receiver in place for quick, glue-free assembly. Ground handling is versatile with a wide-stance tricycle gear and steerable nose wheel, and you can also fly without the gear for added speed and vertical performance.
