It is larger than the Timber X 1.2m, Turbo Timber 1.5m, and Twin Timber 1.6m models and features a more flexible and powerful 4S to 6S compatible power system. It is equipped with numerous features and capabilities that distinguish it from other models, including inflatable tires with beadlock wheels, heavy-duty articulated shock-absorbing landing gear, easily installable and removable slats, and fastener-free wing and tail attachment. This model is ideal for everything from slow cruising to sport and aggressive aerobatic flying, along with impressive STOL capabilities that a wide range of pilots can appreciate.

The E-flite Super Timber 1.7m incorporates various detailed elements that enhance its performance and dependability. It includes inflatable tundra tires and beadlock wheels mounted on robust and shock-absorbing landing gear, enhancing its resilience and STOL capability on various terrains. The optional slats can be easily attached and detached without adhesive. It features LED lights for improved visibility, a horizontal stabilizer that snaps into place, and plug-in wing panels secured with innovative mechanisms that negate the need for tools. Additionally, a custom-designed fuselage clip conveniently holds the wing joiner tube during transport.

A specially tuned motor works with an 85-amp Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC, offering real-time telemetry with compatible batteries and receivers. The BNF Basic version includes an AR637TA receiver for comprehensive telemetry data and benefits from AS3X and optional SAFE Select technologies. A large top hatch allows for effortless battery changes with a quick-release mounting tray compatible with most 4S to 6S 3200"“5000mAh batteries. The model also supports the installation of floats for water flying, making it the ultimate STOL-capable, sport, and aerobatic aircraft suitable for various pilots.
