Timber X 1.2m Bind-N-Fly Basic is a 1.2-meter wingspan electric RC airplane designed to deliver both practical short-field takeoff and landing performance and capable aerobatics for a wide range of pilots. It is available in two Bind-N-Fly configurations: the standard Basic version that binds to a compatible transmitter and requires only final assembly, and the Timber X 1.2m Bind-N-Fly Basic with AS3X and SAFE Select, which adds onboard stabilization and optional flight-envelope protection for extra confidence in wind and during advanced maneuvers.

Crafted from lightweight hollow-core EPO with composite reinforcement for a strong yet light airframe, Timber X 1.2m features six high-torque metal-geared servos, a high-power brushless motor, and a 50-amp ESC compatible with 3S and 4S LiPo packs for bold takeoffs and lively vertical performance. The model sports oversized control surfaces with double-beveled hinge lines, LED lighting, and shock-absorbing landing gear with large tundra-style wheels, plus options such as leading-edge slats for improved slow flight and STOL, or an optional float set for water operation. AS3X provides smooth stability in gusty conditions, while SAFE Select offers easy-to-use flight envelope protection and self-leveling when enabled, making this Timber X approachable for new pilots and rewarding for seasoned flyers alike.
