40-Amp Lite Pro Switch-Mode BEC (EFLA1040LB)

The E-flite 40-Amp Lite Pro Switch-Mode BEC Brushless ESC (V2) is a compact, sensorless electronic speed control with an integrated switch-mode BEC. It powers a brushless motor and provides a 5V BEC to feed servos and receivers directly from the main battery, removing the need for a separate receiver pack and simplifying wiring. When properly cooled, it can sustain up to 40A of continuous current with bursts up to 55A for 15 seconds.

Designed for a wide range of RC setups, it accepts 3–6S LiPo or 9–18S NiMH/NiCd packs and can drive up to seven analog or six digital standard-size servos using the BEC. The unit includes programmable motor braking and a safe power-arm mode to prevent accidental starts, plus a programmable low-voltage cutoff with presets for common LiPo cell counts. Other features include programmable throttle range, soft start for helis and airplanes, auto shut-down on signal loss or interference, and five user-selectable timing ranges to suit a variety of brushless motors.
