Power 160 Brushless Outrunner Motor 245KV (EFLM4160A)

The Power 160 Brushless Outrunner Motor, 245 kV, is a high-torque external-rotor motor designed to deliver clean, quiet power to large sport and scale RC aircraft. It matches or surpasses the performance of a 160-size two-stroke glow engine for models in the 12–20 lb range and is capable of supporting 3D airplanes up to about 15 lb, delivering up to roughly 2700 watts. The external-rotor, slotted 14-pole design helps with cooling, enabling strong, sustained performance on demanding flights.

Includes a mount and mounting hardware, and features a hardened 8 mm steel shaft with ball bearings. It ships with two 12 mm prop shaft adapters tapped for 10-32 threads. For best results, pair with a 75–110 A HV ESC and a 9S–10S LiPo (or 28–32 cell Ni-MH/Ni-Cd) battery, using 18x8 to 20x10 propellers. This setup is well suited to large airframes and 27% scale aerobatic models that require robust, quiet power and reliable torque.
