Wizard Model Rocket (EST1292)

Estes Wizard Rocket is a beginner-friendly model rocket kit designed for easy assembly and high, visible flights. About 12 inches tall with a 0.74-inch diameter, it can reach up to 1,600 feet with the right engines, making it ideal for classrooms, clubs, and backyard launches.

Built for straightforward construction, it features a one-piece body tube, laser-cut balsa fins, a bullet-shaped plastic nose cone, and self-stick decals. Recovery is by streamer, and it's a Skill Level 1 kit, with assembly taking an afternoon. You’ll need basic building tools, finishing supplies, Estes engines, and a launch system (sold separately). Engine options include 1/2A6-2, A8-3, and A8-5.
