The 3/16-inch Two-Piece Maxi Launch Rod is a heavy-duty launch rod designed for larger model rockets and higher-power motors. It attaches to the launch pad and guides rockets with launch lugs as they slide over the rod, helping ensure a stable start. As the rocket accelerates to launch speed—about 30 mph—it breaks away from the rod, delivering a clean lift-off and steady initial flight.

The two-piece design provides flexible setup for different pads and configurations. It’s ideal for larger rockets powered by C11, D, and E motors and can also serve as an alignment tool for models that require two launch lugs.
